In Memory of Sidney "Rusty" Beasley

Then and Now

Lee-Davis High School

        Sidney H. Beasley III, “Rusty,” a life long resident of Hanover County, born Oct. 6, 1951, died May 4, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Julie, and a son, Russ. He was a faithful member of and loved Walnut Grove Baptist Church and the Phil Russell Sunday School Class.

He retired from Colonial Auto Brokers and then returned to work with Collision One. He loved to farm with his son and spend time with his family at the Rivah.

The family received friends Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home. 8014 Lee Davis Rd. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 7046 Cold Harbor Rd., Mechanicsville.

Graveside services were held in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Future Life Christian Ministries, P.O. Box 1565, Mechanicsville, Va. 23116 or Walnut Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
