Been a while, as quite a few of you may remember, I did not graduate with you. I was informed the morning Caps and Gowns were handed out that I would not graduate with the class. Before that year ended I went on active duty in the Navy, was already in the reserves, was assigned to the USS Dewey(DLG14). Fall of 67 found us on the way to Viet Nam. That was the beginning of a 27 Year Navy Career (Retired Nov93). Have been married and divorced twice, been married this time (3rd) going on 25 years. Have two daughters, one adopted son and daughter, and two step-children. total of nine grand-kids. Currently living in Little River, just outside of Myrtle Beach, SC. Would love to catch up with you guys. Take Care, Bill |

For those of you who haven't heard, I missed the reunion because I broke both legs in a fall while transferring on Sept. 24. It just happened that while you all were "re-uniting," I was in the operating room. Anyway, I heard some great reports; and several of you made paid me a visit in the hospital. Glad you had fun! I plan to see you for our 50th reunion in 2016! |

After graduation from Lee Davis I went to U. Va. and graduated in 1970. I taught Spanish for 8 years and got a Master's from ODU in Norfolk. Then I started my own business, dealing in rare books mostly by mail. My first wife (whom I always referred to as "my first wife") and I had 2 children together. I'm currently living in Ontario here in Canada with my 2nd wife. Gee, looking at all these pictures I can only say, "You guys sure did get old!" |

|
After needing a new air conditioning system in my mother's house in Mechanicsville, I decided to clean out the attic. I found our whole class picture from 1966. Has anyone written out all the names of the people in the picture? I had a hard time finding myself. If you have done this, are you willing to post it or send it to Aimee somehow share it with the rest of LDHS 1966 class. Thanks for anyone's help. |

Hi Classmates of '66, I enjoyed seeing and talking with everyone at the reunion. It surely has made a wonderful memory. Since graduation, I went to VCU for two years and worked at the Federal Reserve Bank for 3 years. I married Roy Lupton in October 1972. We have lived in Virginia Beach since then. We have five children, Everett (31) an Attorney at a Norfolk firm, Reva (29) an Interior Designer, Julia (27) who will graduate from ODU in Music Education, Sarah (21) who graduated from Tidewater Community College and is going to ODU to receive her Masters in Marketing. When I was almost 48, God blessed us with another son, Benjamin. He is now an 11 year old and is the JOY of my life! He is in the 5th grade. We have lived on a farm in Virginia Beach for the past 25 years. Eight years ago, I started a home business in which I sell my crafts, mainly handmade goat's milk soap. They are sold in 11 stores in the area. I am now also going back to school to continue my education in Fine Arts. |

It was so great seeing everyone at our reunion. I was so thrilled to see so many take the time to be there and what a great time we had! I am so proud of all the hard work Aimee did on this website and I learned what a great detective Holly is. And didn't Janet do a great job as our MC? Some of you may not know that she lost her mother a few weeks ago but she continued on with her hard work. Pat and I were the tag alongs, but we had fun. I appreciate the sweet card and gift from our class. What a thoughtful thing to do! I missed seeing those who couldn't be there. I pray that God will bless and watch over each of you and that we'll have the opportunity to be together again.
Warmly, Judy |

Hey gang - looking forward to seeing everyone. I retired from teaching high school social studies in Dec. 2003 - after 33 years. My husband of 37 years also retired, but decided to go back to work as an assistant principal. Guess I drove him crazy!! When we have time we like to travel - especially to places that have casinos. Love Las Vegas. We don't have kids but those 150 students a year kept me busy enough. We also enjoy most sports - Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Duke Blue Devils. Thanks to all on the reunion committee for your hard work and time. See you Saturday. |
